Storming Glasgow’s ABC2 this evening is the ghostly presence of artful rockers
What The Dead Know. Dressed literally to kill in blood soaked whites, with scarring and masked face paint, the band take to their stage with an automatic burst.
The costumes and drama are matched tonight with creatively political video footage, forever a message on stage and a thoughtful accompaniment to the music. As the name suggests, What The Dead Know are a chilling and spooky act, a fusion of three guitars and powerful lyrics with a Halloween feel creeping in.
What The Dead Know inject liveliness into their set, not purely through the effervescent stage antics and production, but through the expected force of three guitars. Loud and fully-charged, What The Dead Know are fast-paced musicians and an excitingly energetic headlining act.
The night ends with less a stage invasion, more a crowd invasion as a masked guitarist leaps the barrier to rock out with his audience. What The Dead Know are not just a band to listen to, but to watch for, in all aspects of putting on a deadly-good rock show.
