Oswald - Flying to the ground - Email this single review Printable version
Oswald are Scottish duo Tom and Ants McCreeruy. Following in the footsteps of Biffy Clyro and Franz Ferdinand, Oswald offer Indie rock tinged with a hint of 80’s synth nostalgia.

'Flying to the ground’ is a fast paced song that will stick in your head and stay there. The production is near perfect. There is enough 'knob twidlling’ to add an extra dimension but they know when to say stop and in my book they get an extra star for the using the Moog to such great effect.

The song is about a friend of Tom’s who died from falling from a 4 story building. The lyrics are brutally honest and very heartfelt.

This is a cracker of a song and far superior to any of the other Indie rock/electronica doing the rounds at the moment.

More please!
