Glenn Meling - All You Can Do - Email this single review Printable version
Apparently Glenn Meling is a Norwegian wanderer who’s travelled the world looking for inspiration, playing in bands, breaking them up and probably sees himself as a man of the world.

With that sort of experience one would have thought that this single would be more original than it is. Unfortunately, what we are presented is dull, clichéd, big expansive sounding soft rock. Is it lazy to mention The Irish Band and pick on Mr Meling’s Bonoish vocals? Yes, but this sounds like a lazy song so touché!

There is nothing wrong with MOR - which is where this song is pitched at - look at Boston, Journey and early Foreigner. Those bands wrote very commercial, ear-tickling songs, but they were rich with soul and passion. This clinical studio exercise is devoid of both.
