When you get a CD sent from a band called Ghetto Mullet you wonder what you might be in for. My first impression of this EP intrigued me, leading me to have second and third impressions, which is always a good sign!
The music is well put together and has enough to keep you interested through some fairly long tracks, there is also a sense of comedy about these guys, which is refreshing, the scratching of 'I really love mullets' brought a smile to my face, not to mention 'The Eternal Hold’ which explores the madness of being kept on hold on the telephone.
All in all this isn’t a bad first EP at all; I will certainly keep my ear to the ground for the future of Ghetto Mullet.
Sunday Morning Hangover is out now on CD or to download via itunes or a multitude of other MP3 download sites.
