Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas are reportedly not dating.
The 36-year-old actress and 23-year-old singer were linked last weekend (26-27Sep15) after being seen at various locations in Florida, including looking cosy on a ride at Disney World, Orlando.
However, sources have now revealed that there is nothing romantic going on between the pair.
The insider told Page Six that Kate and Nick met when they were introduced by mutual friends several months ago.
“They’re hanging out, but they’re not dating,” the source said.
Kate was previously linked to Nick when she went to see the singer perform in September (15) along with a host of other celebrities including Kendall Jenner, Jennifer Lopez and her boyfriend Casper Smart.
The Almost Famous actress is clearly a fan of musicians, having previously had relationships with The Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, to whom she was married from 2001 to 2007, and Muse rocker Matt Bellamy.
The pair were engaged and have son Bingham together but parted ways in December 2014.
Meanwhile, Nick has been single since splitting from former Miss USA Olivia Culpo in June after two years together.
He has also had experience romancing an older woman, having previously dated Australian singer Delta Goodrem – who is nine years his senior.
The pair split in February 2012 after nine months together.
After their break-up, Nick opened up about his lasting feelings for Delta, saying in March this year (15) that the pair still talk from “time to time”.
“I think that life is about a journey and growth and each person that's a part of your life is meaningful and important. And I think that there is always love there. It's a part of the journey,” Nick told news.com.au.
“But I can say now that I'm thankful to have had all the experiences and that was an important chapter of my life but I'm thrilled to be in a new chapter.”
