Julia Roberts views her onstage appearance at a Taylor Swift show as an “out of body” experience.

The 47-year-old actress attended the Blank Space pop star’s concert at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on August 15 with her three children, twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, ten years old, and son Henry, eight.

And when Taylor invited Julia to come up onto the stage with her, the Academy Award-winning Mirror Mirror star couldn’t resist taking the songstress up on the opportunity, despite being unprepared.

“I would have washed my hair, I was like wearing a ponytail and leggings, tennis shoes... no she was sweet enough to ask me before the show,” Julia smiled to Extra, noting her appearance alongside Taylor and folk singer Joan Baez was a spectacular moment. “It was one of those crazy out of body moments and I can't tell you anything that happened from the moment I came on stage, so surreal.”

Julia is impressed with Taylor’s kind and generous nature.

The Shake It Off singer truly made the actress and her children feel like family.

“She was very sweet with my children and they had never been to a concert before and they were big fans and she said would you mind coming on stage during the song and dancing and I said to my children what do you think, ‘Oh Mum you have to do it...’ and my youngest son said, ‘Only do it if you want to Mummy.’ It was so sweet!” Julia gushed.

The August: Osage County star has joined a host of other A-listers who made surprise appearances during Taylor’s The 1989 World Tour concerts this summer. Taylor has invited more than 50 celebrities onstage so far, including John Legend, Alanis Morissette, Ellen DeGeneres, Uzo Aduba, Mary J. Blige, Fifth Harmony, Little Mix, Fetty Wap, Jason Derulo, Lorde, The Weeknd, Nick Jonas and others.
