MTV have announced that chart-topping singer and rapper, Example and music heavyweights Sigma and Slaves, will be taking to the stage to perform at MTV’s Live Lockdown. The acts will take centre stage in front of 350 fans in a secret Glasgow location on 30th September.
MTV Live Lockdown will feature stylish, sexy and sleek performances from each artist in a coliseum style set, providing a 360 degree view for an intimate and exclusive audience of approximately 350 fans. This is LIVE LOCKDOWN!
Example said: “I am just excited to get out on that stage, I love performing, that’s what it’s all about for me, so I’m looking forward to sharing my tracks with the Glasgow audience and seeing their reaction at MTV Live Lockdown.”
Also performing at the hotly anticipated MTV Live Lockdown are Sigma, who have recently announced details of their new single, ‘Redemption.’
“We can't wait to perform at MTV Live Lockdown! We're really looking forward to seeing Slaves do their thing and catching up with our mate Example. The crowds are always mental in Scotland and we're sure Glasgow will live up to this!” [Sigma].
Completing the stellar line-up are Slaves, one of the most acclaimed live bands of the moment, they said:
“We're really looking forward to this gig. Glasgow is a great place to play. Get ready for a big party!”
MTV Live Lockdown will be broadcast across MTV’s flagship UK music TV channels, MTV MUSIC and MTV LIVE HD on 30th October.
The first season of MTV Live Lockdown was held in London and featured big name acts including Fall Out Boy, Jess Glynne, Ella Eyre & Lawson. Ticketing and venue information for this autumn’s Glasgow event will all be announced in due course. Stay tuned!
