Britney Spears and her dad Jamie apparently disagree over her man situation.
The singer is never single for long and she dated recent exes David Lucado and Charlie Ebersol in quick succession.
Britney and TV producer Charlie split in June amid rumours she wanted to marry and he didn't, but it seems she's now ready to move on from the failed romance.
"Jamie wants her to rebuild her confidence after breaking up with Charlie, while Britney wants to find a man right away. She throws everything into relationships before they have a chance to grow - and the guy runs," a source told US OK! magazine.
Despite having an apparent lack of confidence, Britney has been wowing on the red carpet of late. She rocked up to the MTV VMAs last weekend showing off her cleavage and toned stomach in a sparkly gold Labourjoisie dress.
Performing her Las Vegas residency show has ensured the 33-year-old is in top shape, and her revealing frock no doubt showed Charlie what he is missing.
Jamie has been Britney's conservator since 2008, and as well as looking after her finances he apparently also set her up with both Charlie and David.
"She pushes her dad every day, saying that a new guy will help her forget about Charlie," the source said.
While she waits for her new man, Britney has been enjoying the company of a male friend. She earlier uploaded a snap of her and the unnamed buddy with the caption: "Love brunch at the beach with friends!"
