A coroner’s inquisition has determined that British singer and TV host Cilla Black died from a traumatic head injury after a fall in her home in Spain on August 1.

The coroner for the City of Liverpool, where Black grew up, said that the “thrust of the evidence clearly points towards only one conclusion which was an accidental death.”

Black, 72, was certified dead at 6:10 PM in her villa on August 1 but it is unknown when she fell.

Black will have a private funeral on August 20 at St. Mary’s Church in Woolton and will be laid to rest next to her parents in Allerton Cemetery outside of Liverpool.

In other news, Black’s family has been forced to remove all art and valuables from Black’s home in Denham, Buckinghamshire, England after a professionally cut hole was found in the fence surrounding the property.

While Black had only one hit in the U.S., You’re My World which made it to number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100, she had eleven top ten hits in the U.K. including number 1’s Anyone Who Had a Heart and World. She went on to have an extremely successful career as a host of television variety and game shows.
