Taylor Swift is so grateful her “ray of light” friend Karlie Kloss entered her life.
The 25-year-old pop star has been good pals with the supermodel for years.
Karlie turned 23 years old on August 3 and Taylor took to Instagram to wish her partner in crime a very happy birthday.
“Some of my best memories have been with this girl, laughing in the kitchen. Happy Birthday to the ray of light that is @karliekloss,” the songstress wrote in a caption attached to an image of Karlie preparing food in a kitchen, with Taylor’s boyfriend Calvin Harris also in the frame obviously taken over by laughter.
Taylor has a number of high-profile female friends like Selena Gomez, Jaime King, Hailee Steinfeld and Gigi Hadid.
The star previously revealed they all adhere to a silent contract when it comes to interacting with one another.
“They truly mean what they say, and they're honest," she told ET Online. "There's sort of an unspoken code that we're there for each other, and we would never turn on each other. We're not gonna gossip about each other. It's kind of an alliance that is the best kind of friendship you can have."
Lorde and Lena Dunham, who are also part of the Taylor Swift friendship alliance, have previously spoken about the Bad Blood star’s knack for getting like-minded groups of people together.
"Speaking of camp mother, I feel that Taylor [Swift] has really taken control and said, 'I'm going to get us all together in the same place, I'm gonna make it very clear that friendship is powerful and women are magic and if anybody thinks this is a witches’ coven they might be right’,” Lena gushed to Dazed and Confused magazine. "She’s just made it her job in a very cool way."
