Louis Tomlinson has thanked fans in the wake of his baby news.
Earlier this month it was revealed the One Direction star, 23, is expecting a child with his close friend Briana Jungwirth. It was a shock for many, as the pair had never confirmed any romantic involvement and even now seem to plan on staying just friends.
Since the news broke Louis has been relatively quiet on Twitter, only posting one short message to thank the audience after a show. But now he's poured his heart out online, showing how grateful he is for loyal Directioners.
"Every single day we are thankful for the platform that you incredible people gave us . What an amazing 5 years it's been !!" he gushed.
"You have been by far the most incredible fanbase and nothing you do goes unnoticed . We are so lucky to have you guys ! Thanks so much :)

It's likely Louis' bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne were left pretty surprised by the big reveal. Fellow boyband star Luke Hemmings, who is a part of 5 Seconds of Summer, sympathises with his pal.
"I haven't spoken to Louis since it has happened but I hope he is not freaking out and that this is a good thing for him. I hope he can see some positives in it," he said in an interview with radio hosts Kyle & Jackie O.
