Following on from first single ‘C’est La Vie’, which has been heralded as one of the songs of the year so far, Stereophonics release second single ‘I Wanna Get Lost With You’ on September 11th on their own Stylus Records label through Ignition Records.
Taken from the band’s eagerly anticipated ninth studio album ‘Keep The Village Alive’ (also released September 11th), ‘I Wanna Get Lost With You’ is one of the album’s many highlights and, “is about wanting to lose yourself personally, and lose yourself with somebody, and then just literally get out there,” says lead singer Kelly Jones.
The single is available to stream and download from 21st July and the video of which is the sixth video directed by Kelly who is fast becoming a very talented director in his own right.
‘Keep The Village Alive’ is written by Kelly Jones, produced by Kelly and Jim Lowe, and comes hot on the heels of 2013’s acclaimed, platinum-selling ‘Graffiti On The Train’. The album was recorded at ICP Studios in Brussels and the band’s own Stylus Studios in London.
Stereophonics sold out 16 arena shows on their ‘Graffiti On The Train’ tour in 2013, selling over 150,000 tickets. This summer they headline V Festival on August 22nd and 23rd with more live dates to be announced for the autumn shortly.
