The Vamps have gave THORPE PARK Resort a taster of what their new album will sound like.

Fresh from a leg of their USA tour, Brad Simpson, James McVey, Conor Ball and Tristan Evans flew in especially to open proceedings for ISLAND BEATS.

After their ISLAND BEATS show at THORPE PARK Resort, Brad revealed the new album is almost ready:

“We are 87% done on the album, just finishing touches to go. It [sounds] a bit more like Imagine Dragons or MGMT. A bit more alternative, but hopefully the fans enjoy it. It’s got a bit more of a rockier edge in parts, but we are really happy with it so far and looking forward to having it in our hands as an album…. its 80s synth in parts, which we quite like.”

“The album is due in November is the first single will be out about a month and a half before that.”

Following our chat, the band took no time in getting into the THORPE PARK spirit, and chowed down on some creepy crawly ‘treats’ in their trailer. Fresh from the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here attraction, a platter of mealworms, bugs and locusts were served up to the bravest band in pop.

ISLAND BEATS – a summer season of awesome music gigs from the stars of Pop, RnB and Dance every Friday and Saturday from now until 30 August.
