Nicki Minaj wants to be married before she gets pregnant.
The 32-year-old singer is in a happy relationship with rapper Meek Mill. But after the musician said he wished his girlfriend was with child in a recent interview, Nicki took to her Twitter page to set the record straight.
“No matter wut he, or anyone else says, Onika Tanya Maraj won't b pushing anyone1 out her vajayjay, until she's married. Now check that (sic),” Nicki wrote on her Twitter page, referring to her real name in the message.
Nicki was made aware of Meek’s comments when one of her Twitter followers retweeted a clip.
In the short video, Meek is seen being asked about the recent rumours that Nicki was expecting.
“Nicki ain’t pregnant but you know… I wish!” he replied.
The Pound The Alarm singer told her fans on Twitter that she always has a chat with her beau following his promo interviews.
However, she insisted Meek had made sure not to mention his wish to his girlfriend.
“He always hit me after the interview n give me the run down (sic),” she added. “He ain't mention that part tho.”
The stunning star also revealed on the social network that Meek has changed certain aspects of their relationship since they’ve been together.
While she wasn’t a fan of FaceTime at first – an application that allows two users to video call each other – Meek was quick to change her mind.
“Lol and he pressures me Into facetiming,” she tweeted. “I never used to like that s**t.”
Rumours that Nicki might be pregnant first emerged when it was claimed that her tour manager had banned smoking of cigarettes or marijuana anywhere near the star when she takes to the stage for the American leg of her PinkPrint tour.
However, Nicki was determined to deny the claims, telling US TV show Extra in a recent interview: “I’m not engaged and my ring was a gift and I’m definitely not pregnant… But thank you guys for your concerns!”
