Ciara and Russell Wilson won’t have sex until after they wed.
The Love Sex Magic singer has been dating the NFL player since the early part of the year, and the couple made their red carpet debut at the BET Awards last month.
But while Ciara’s relationship with Russell appears to be going from strength to strength, the 26-year-old sportsman has revealed their romance has yet to reach an intimate level.
"I asked her what would you do if we took all that other stuff off the table and did it Jesus' way, no sex?" Russell said during a Q&A at The Rock church in San Diego on Sunday.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback told the audience that Ciara agreed to his suggestion.
However, Russell added that the prospect of no sexual intimacy has not been easy – especially as he considers Ciara to be a “15 out of 10”.
"I need ya'll to pray for us," he joked to the crowd.
Ciara previously spoke about her romance with Russell on the red carpet at the BET awards.
“He’s amazing yeah, he’s awesome. [It’s going] more than well,” she told Extra. “You know God’s got it all and I’m very happy. An amazing guy.”
But things haven’t been entirely plain sailing for Ciara and Russell.
During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel earlier this week, Russell was shown a video of Ciara praising Patriots quarterback Tom Brady following their victory over the Ravens.
In the footage, Ciara is seen saying she would "rep him all day, every day."
And the video didn’t go down too well with Russell, who told Jimmy: “That was our first argument. I saw that about a week ago.
"Her response was, the following week she was cheering for the Seattle Seahawks and that she was rooting for us the whole time. I don’t know."
