Meek Mill drooled over Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda music video while he was in jail.

The 28-year-old rapper was behind bars last August, when his now-girlfriend Nicki released her music promo to the masses.
And Meek claims the video was the highlight of his life while he rotted in jail.

“We used to watch Nicki Minaj’s video on TV all the time,” he told MTV News. “One hundred n***as in the day room at one time watching Anaconda. That’s still going on everyday in jail. I know it do.”

But Meek isn’t upset by the fact millions of other men gawk at his love, who he began dating a few months ago.

“It didn’t make me feel no way,” he noted. “Men, watching a video, they doing what they supposed to do.”

Meek has credited Nicki, 32, with aiding him as he suffered in prison.

The star appreciates the fact she kept communicating with him during such a dark time in his life.

“Towards the end, we always was talking, the whole time,” he shared. “She was a part of holding me down through that situation.”

Meek says Nicki remains his rock.

He intently listens to the guidance she doles out to him.

“She gives me advice,” Meek said. “Actually, All Eyes on You with Chris Brown was really her idea, where she thought she could help take that record to the next level, and she thought it was a big record. So we went back and forth about it for a long time.”

Meek released his new album Dreams Worth More Than Money earlier this week.
