Ciara thinks her boyfriend Russell Wilson is an amazing guy.
The Love Sex Magic singer has been dating the NFL player since the early part of the year. The couple made their red carpet debut at the BET Awards on Sunday night, and the 29-year-old wasn’t shy about her new beau.
“He’s amazing yeah, he’s awesome. [It’s going] more than well,” she told Extra with a big grin. “You know God’s got it all and I’m very happy. An amazing guy.”
Ciara was seen attending the White House State Dinner in April with the Seattle Seahawks player but remained coy about their relationship. However it now seems to be going from strength to strength, with the 26-year-old unable to keep his hands off his girlfriend as they posed for photographers outside the awards ceremony.
The singer had many reasons to smile at the event, as not only did she have Russell by her side, but she was part of an all-star line-up who paid tribute to Janet Jackson on stage ahead of her receiving BET's first-ever Ultimate Icon: Music Visual Dance Award. For Ciara it was a dream come true to perform two of her idol’s biggest songs, If and Rhythm Nation.
“I feel so honoured,” she confessed. “Moments like these put the icing on the cake. That woman has inspired me in every way.”
Ciara also took to her social media sites to share her joy at being on stage with the legendary singer.
“Before Going On Stage, I Probably Pinched Myself 40 Million Times!:)... Paying Homage To #JanetJackson Was Really One Of The Coolest Moments Of My Life! #SoThankful #DreamsComeTrue (sic)” she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her all black outfit.
