Bobbi Kristina Brown’s long, sad story may be coming to an end.

The daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive face down in a bathtub at the end of January. She has been on a ventilator ever since and has never reached consciousness.

On Wednesday, she was moved from a rehabilitation center to a hospice in Gwinnett County, GA and both Billboard and the Atlanta Journal Constitution are now reporting that members of both the Brown and Houston family are gathering at the facility.

The Fulton County District Attorney, who has jurisdiction where Brown was found, still has an open investigation into the circumstances of Bobbi Kristina injuries. There have been numerous allegations from many fronts that her boyfriend Nick Gordon, who was also referred to as her husband, had been violent towards her.

According to the Atlanta paper, Brown’s court appointed conservator filed a suit on Bobbi Kristina’s behalf, against Gordon:

(Gordon) has held himself out as having several different relationships with Brown at various times. Prior to 2012, (Gordon) held himself out to be Brown’s surrogate ‘brother.’ Then, after 2012, when Brown inherited a substantial sum, (Gordon) assumed the position of Brown’s boyfriend. On or around Jan. 9, 2014 (Gordon) perpetuated the fraud that he had married Brown, though in fact he never did so.

The misrepresentation that (Gordon) was Brown’s ‘husband’ was used to control Brown and limit with whom she could interact. For example, (Gordon) often answered Brown’s personal cell phone, would not allow her to make appointments without his approval, and manipulated her bank relationship so that he could access her money. This was all part of a scheme to benefit from her wealth.

In fact, (Gordon) acted on this scheme by routinely transferring a large portion of Brown’s funds into an account controlled solely by him, without the consent or authorization of Brown.

(Gordon) then began questioning Brown’s access to trust assets and threatening one of the trustees with guns and other violent weapons. On April 14, 2014, this Court issued a restraining and/or protective order against (Gordon).

(Gordon) also began to commit domestic violence on Brown, including punching her in the face, knocking out a front tooth and dragging her upstairs by her hair.

Just prior to Jan. 31, Brown had confided to someone that (Gordon) was not the man she thought he was and set up a time on Jan. 31 to meet with this person to further discuss this revelation. Brown, however, never made it to the meeting. Instead, on the morning of Jan. 31, Brown became embroiled in a loud argument with (Gordon) at her townhome. The loud argument ended and Brown was later found unresponsive and unconscious, face down in a bathtub, with her mouth swollen and another tooth knocked out.”

As a direct and proximate result of (Gordon’s) conduct, Brown has suffered life threatening bodily harm and damages.”

Brown has suffered substantial physical bodily harm, including loss of teeth, pain and suffering, and trauma that has required medical treatment as a direct consequence of (Gordon)’s physical abuse.
