With his eagerly anticipated debut album 'Wishes' on the way in September, Rhodes will be taking the stunning record on the road this autumn, including his biggest show to date at Koko October 9th.
A brooding and melancholic collection of self-written songs, 'Wishes' is refreshing in its stripped back beauty, with Rhodes' haunting and unique vocals taking centre stage. The album confirms the arrival of a major talent who has already been compared to artists as diverse as Jeff Buckley and Adele, with a flair for writing songs that build from something incredibly fragile to a hugely powerful climax. Nowhere is this more evident than on new single 'Close Your Eyes' out July 5th.
Having supported the likes of Rufus Wainwright, Sam Smith, London Grammar and George Ezra in Europe, Rhodes has sold out three headline tours to date due to his captivating live shows.
Rhodes plays (with JP Cooper supporting on all dates bar London):
October Fri 2nd EXETER, Phoenix Sat 3rd BRISTOL, Thekla Mon 5th SHEFFIELD, Plug Tue 6th LEEDS, Brudenell Social Club Wed 7th GLASGOW, King Tuts Fri 9th LONDON, Koko Sat 10th MANCHESTER, Gorilla Sun 11th BIRMINGHAM, The Rainbow
Tickets go on general sale Friday 12th June.
