Iggy Azalea has cancelled her Pittsburgh Pride performance.
The Australian rapper told fans on Twitter that she would not be taking to the stage on June 13, due to backlash she has received from the LGBT community from previous tweets she'd sent.
The posts in question include the star saying she thinks it's "kinda homo (sic)" when guys whisper in each other's ears, but were uploaded prior to her fame.
"I am a firm believer in equality. Unfortunately in the past as a young person, I used words I should not have. The last thing I want is for something so carelessly said to be interpreted as reflective of my character," she told followers.
"I meant no harm and deeply regret ever uttering those words. As an adult I would never use them because I understand they play a detrimental role in the fight for issues that I do truly believe in."
Pittsburgh Pride is the premier LGBT community festival in Pennsylvania, and features the Pride March as well as other highlights.
Iggy was meant to take part in Pride in the Street. The 25-year-old has apologised to anyone she has upset.
"I am sorry to anyone who I have offended or disappointed and I wish all my fans and friends participating in Pride the best of luck," she added.
This isn't the only show Iggy has cancelled recently; last month she also pulled the plug on her The Great Escape Tour. The dates were slated to take place in the fall, but Iggy told Seventeen Magazine that she'd had "a different creative change of heart".
