Roger Daltrey, Liam Gallagher, Ian Broudie (Lightning Seeds) and Zak Starkey are reportedly forming a supergroup to perform on the upcoming TFI Friday special.

TFI Friday was a series that ran from 1996 to 2000 on Channel 4 in the U.K. and is being revived for a one-time special on June 12.

Gallagher is reportedly ready for a new music venture. A source told Britain’s The Sun “Liam’s got a bit of time on his hands since Beady called it a day last year so he fancied trying his hand at something new. He’s told his mates he’s pretty bored. Other than Noel, you would be hard pushed to find a better set of bandmates than Roger, Ian and Zak. It’s a proper supergroup and the performance will be something to remember.”

There’s no news as to whether there are plans for the group to do anything post-June 12.

Also appearing on the special are Blur, Rudimental, Years & Years and Mani (Stone Roses, Primal Scream).
