Bobbi Kristina will “never” be removed from life support by her family, according to reports.
The 22-year-old daughter of late singer Whitney Houston was placed in a medically induced coma after being found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Roswell, Georgia home on January 31.
Her grandmother Cissy Houston revealed last month that Bobbi was no longer in a coma, but was showing no sign of improvement.
However, despite reports last week that Bobbi’s father Bobby Brown was planning to take the young star off life support, sources close to the family have now revealed that that will never be the case.
“Let me tell you this now," the source told People.com. "Don't believe any reports that Bobby is going to take her off life support. He's never going to do that. I don't think he'll ever go there; if there's a 2 per cent chance, a 1 per cent chance, a 0.1 per cent chance, he will keep hope alive."
Bobbi is now being looked after in a rehab facility after being transported from hospital.
The source adds that false stories surrounding Bobbi’s condition are becoming increasingly difficult for her father to handle.
"It's background noise," the source continues. "Bobby hears these reports, and it's annoying to him. He hates that people are just waiting for his daughter to die."
Bobby has been making daily visits to his daughter, where he sits and talks to her.
Whitney’s sister-in-law Pat Houston is another frequent visitor, and extended family members also visit Bobbi to offer their support.
One thing all the visitors have in common is that they remain hopeful Bobbi’s condition will improve.
“We pray every time," the source said. "We don't want America to forget to pray for Bobbi Kristina. As long as she has breath and her heart is beating, no one will give up on her.”
