Nicole Scherzinger says a Pussycat Dolls reunion will happen “if it’s meant to be”.

The 36-year-old singer fronted the girl group from 2003 to 2010, when the troupe disbanded and left to pursue solo projects.

While Nicole has achieved huge success as a solo artist – as a singer, reality show judge and musical star – the entertainer has revealed in a new interview that she hasn’t ruled out getting the group back together for a reunion.

“One day we might get the Dolls back together!” she told HuffPost Live. “If it’s meant to be…

“It was awesome. We were like this pop, girl gang. I loved my time with them and now looking back I appreciate it more – everything I’ve learned. I’m grateful for everything.”

Earlier in the interview Nicole had explained that her time with the group wasn’t as enjoyable as it could have been because she wasn’t prepared enough.

And it was her single-mindedness when it came to focusing on her work with the band that meant she didn’t get to make the most of the perks of being part of one of the world’s biggest bands.

“For the Dolls I wasn’t prepared for a lot of things – it all happened very fast,” she said. “For the several years I toured with the Dolls I wasn’t able to really enjoy it because I was too focused on the next step, the next hit, the next vision… so that wasn’t very fun for me.”
