Taylor Swift thinks Kanye West is “very creative”.

The Style singer was famously overshadowed by the rapper at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009 when he leapt on stage during her acceptance speech. The pair have since made up and following a cosy pic together at the Grammy’s earlier this year, Kanye seemed to confirm that they would be working together. During a chat with Entertainment Tonight, Taylor didn’t exactly echo his words but did praise the Yeezus star on his music and dedication.

“We've never been in a studio together, but, he's got a lot of amazing ideas. He's one of those people that's just like idea, idea, idea; ‘What do you think of this? What do you think of that?’” she explained. “He's very creative, and I think we've talked about it but we've also talked about so many other things... I completely respect his vision as a producer. So, that's all I know now.”

The 25-year-old is currently riding high on the success of her latest album 1989. Whether a collaboration between her and the 37-year-old will feature on her next cut or not is yet to be seen but Taylor does plan on heading in a different direction which Kanye could help with.

“I’m not making the next record yet, that’s going to take a lot of thinking about what that should be,” she continued. “With 1989, I love this album so much that I think it’d be doing a real disservice to try and copy it the next time around. I think it’s going to have to be something very, very different, creatively.”
