Nick Jonas has “never even tried” to have sex to his own songs.
The 22-year-old is currently in a relationship with Miss Universe Olivia Culpo. His latest track Jealous was supposedly written about her but while Nick thinks the song has sexy beats, he’s never got physical to that or any of his other songs.
“That's a no-fly zone! It's so awkward. I've never even tried,” he told the American edition of Elle. “I do think about how many people have had sex to my music. And how many babies have been made to Jealous. It's got a good tempo for sex. They should be naming their babies Nick or Nicole. I'm joking.”
Nick first rose to fame as part of The Jonas Brothers with siblings Joe and Kevin. At the height of their success the media fixated on their purity rings, and while the singer is comfortable with talking about sex now, back then he found it inappropriate.
“There was so much attention on my sex life at 15. It was uncomfortable,” he admitted. “If you were talking about a 15-year-old's sex life or a 17-year-old's in any other context it would be totally obscene.”
It was around this time that Nick dated fellow pop star Miley Cyrus. The couple were together for over a year but with hindsight the hunk thinks it can be difficult dating a fellow musician.
“I think that dating other musicians can be complicated at times. Especially when they think highly of themselves,” he said before being asked if he was talking about anyone specific. “No. Not necessarily. But it does complicate things. That's probably why I'm no longer with those people. I was so young [with Miley]. What's unfortunate is that, as we got older, we ran in different circles. We've always had respect and wished the best for each other. I don't know that I have any regrets.”
