Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger’s romance is reportedly “hanging by a thread”.
The 22-year-old Wrecking Ball hitmaker began dating the 21-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger in November of last year, but their relationship hit a rocky patch after Patrick was photographed flirting heavily with his friend’s girlfriend during a spring break party in March.
And apparently their love affair remains tense after the incident.
“They’re hanging by a thread right now,” a source told America’s OKMagazine.com. “Miley is beyond devastated by his behaviour over spring break.”
But Miley purportedly doesn’t want to give up on their relationship so quickly.
It’s claimed she is willing to have another go.
“She’s not ready to break things off just yet, because she does have feelings for Patrick and wants to give him one last shot,” the insider detailed.
However, speculation is rife Miley certainly has laid down the law in terms of what she expects from their relationship.
One of the conditions she allegedly set is that they both attend couples therapy until their problems are resolved.
“It’s not ideal for him by any means, but if that’s what it takes to keep Miley he’s told her he’s game,” source noted.
Another insider claims Miley has been paying for everything while they’ve been together, including $45,000 for Patrick’s travel expenses and $25,000 in clothing for him.
Apparently some people believe he is using her for the money.
“Patrick almost never opens his wallet,” an insider claimed. “She hands him cash, and he settles the bill.”
