Lady Antebellum members were forced to evacuate their flaming bus.
The American country music group, which is comprised of Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, are currently performing shows on their Wheels Up Tour.
And on their way to Dallas, Texas Thursday morning, one of Lady Antebellum’s tour vehicles caught fire while travelling Interstate 30, which is just east of the big city.
“Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today. Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly. EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND. It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all!!!! ~hillary (sic),” lead vocalist Hillary wrote on her Instagram page.
The country pop band has achieved huge success over the years after picking up the best country album award at the 2012 Grammys.
Their Wheels Up Tour, which is presented by Quicken Loans, is the fourth headlining tour for Lady Antebellum.
As part of the concert series, they will perform 65 shows across Europe, Australia and North America.
The Wheels Up Tour is in support of their sixth studio album 747, which has sold just under 245,000 in the US since its release in September 2014.
Fans in Canada and the United States still have a chance to see Lady Antebellum perform, as they’ll be touring North America up until their last Wheels Up Tour concert in Las Vegas on October 3.
