Justin Bieber was escorted out of Coachella by security on Sunday night.

According to reports, the singer was forcibly removed from the grounds of the annual three-day music festival in Indio, California after being restrained in a chokehold following a scuffle with security.

TMZ has obtained footage of the 21-year-old being kicked out of the VIP area, with reports he was ejected after becoming disruptive when he was told the venue was at capacity.

According to the website, the Never Say Never hitmaker and his entourage were stopped by security as they walked through the artists’ entrance during rapper Drake’s performance.

Despite showing they had the proper wristbands, they were told the area was already at capacity and they must leave, which reportedly didn’t go down too well.

TMZ reports an eyewitness as telling them that Justin then proceeded to argue with security, insisting that he couldn’t possibly stand in the crowd as he would be swarmed by fans due to his celebrity status. He even told them he had been personally invited to watch from the artists’ area by Drake himself, though security simply wouldn’t budge.

Witnesses tell the website that the scuffle went down when a Coachella staffer told Justin she would personally escort him into the artists’ area. Holding him by the arm as they began walking inside, security then came up behind the star and reportedly put him in a chokehold.

Justin’s entourage promptly stepped in, which is when security ordered the group to leave the festival and escorted them off the property.

According to TMZ, sources close to the star have told them that Justin voluntarily left the venue and he is now considering taking legal action against the security guards.

The altercation comes just days after an Argentinian judge ordered that the singer will be detained by police if he ever returns to the country.

The ruling stems from an alleged assault in a Buenos Aires nightclub in 2013.
