Nas & Dave Stewart Ent. to produce new breakdancing movie

Rapper Nas is working together with Dave Stewart’s Dave Stewart Entertainment to produce the movie ‘Shake The Dust’.

Nasir ‘Nas’ Jones is executive producer of the project with filmmaker Adam Sjoberg.

The “Shake The Dust’ movie will document “the chronicles of breakdancing, exploring how it strikes a resonant chord in the slums, favelas and ghettos of the world and far beyond”.

The work of Los Angeles based Sjoberg, a former journalist, has been featured by BBC World News, WIRED magazine, PASTE Magazine, ESPN Magazine, the CBS Evening News.

The producer of the movie is David Jacobson who is also the head of business strategies for Dave Stewart Entertainment. David is currently overseeing the film A Hole in the Fence created by Stewart & Ringo Starr.
