Iggy Azalea is “super excited” to be working with Britney Spears.

The Australian singer collaborates with Britney on the upcoming track Pretty Girls, due for release on May 5th.

And the process of teaming up with singer Britney was an incredible one for the 24-year-old.

"I'm super excited about it," Iggy told Access Hollywood about the “awesome” track.

As well as featuring on the track, Iggy is also co-directing the video.

"I'm gonna be co-directing the video next week," she said. "So that's been awesome, not only just getting to work with [Britney] and write the song, but being able to have something to do with the visual… . It's just been great. It's just been an honour that she would let me do that for her, so I'm super excited."

It won’t be the first time that Iggy has been behind the camera, as she previously directed videos for her own tracks Trouble and Black Widow.

However, Iggy admits that working with a veteran performer such as Britney on the video means she feels the pressure is on.

"It will be my first time directing somebody else's video," she said. "I'm really nervous about it. I want to do her justice!"

But while Iggy will be helming the music video, Britney has also been involved in the concept for it.

And Iggy admits that working with Britney has meant they have grown closer in the process.

"She's had her own input in,” Iggy said. “And it's been a cool process because I've got her number, so I've been harassing her. 'What do you think about this?' And she's added some of her ideas as well.”
