South African Blues sensation Dan Patlansky has been picked to support Joe Satriani on his tour this winter. The tour will take in 9 dates in November, culminating in a show at the Hammersmith Apollo on November 10th.
This follows Patlansky playing as support to Bruce Springsteen in front of 64000 at the FNB Stadium in his native Johannesburg - a show that saw Springsteen watching from the side of the stage applauding after personally picking him for the show.
He will be releasing his latest album - to be reviewed here shortly - 'Dear Silence Thieves' on April 27th and is playing a showcase gig at London's Borderline on the same day. He will also be playing gigs in Sheffield, York and Poole.
