Ed Sheeran to appear in Home and Away

Ed Sheeran has been confirmed as the latest English musician to score a guest spot in the Australian soap opera Home and Away.

Sheeran filmed his part in Home and Away while in was in Sydney this week. He will be the first major pop star to appear in Home and Away although many a visiting UK popstar (and the occasional classically trained musician), including Lily Allen, The Wombats, Emma Bunton, Paula Abdul and Andre Rieu, have popped up in rival Neighbours.

The Ed Sheeran Home and Away episode will air later this year.
