Justin Bieber has “missed the stage”.

The Canadian singer announced on Tuesday that he will be headlining the Fusion Festival in England later this year. And the 21-year-old admitted that he can’t wait to get back to business.

“Missed the stage. Time to get back to work," he tweeted following the announcement.

In the last year, Justin has had quite a tumultuous time, from brushes with the law to his on-off relationship with Selena Gomez. His antics have overshadowed his music, but the Baby singer is glad to be making a return to his number one passion.

“I love the UK and I'm excited to be playing at Fusion this year," he said in a statement, according to Billboard. "There are some great artists on the line-up so to be headlining the Friday night, is a real honour."

Justin will take to the stage on August 28 in Birmingham. Other acts on the bill include Tinie Tempah, Rixton, DJ Fresh and Fuse ODG while Rudimental will headline the following evening. The singer’s most recent gig was on March 13 when he played the The Nice Guy club in L.A.

Justin clearly has renewed focus and told Men’s Health what he hopes to achieve in the future.

“I do aspire to be a class act,” he revealed. "This has really been a big year for me, as far as figuring stuff out. This is almost like a full 180 from how I was. Yesterday—a year from yesterday—I was in jail."
