Brian Wilson will get the all-star tribute treatment on March 30 in Los Angeles with Brian Fest: A Night to Celebrate the Music of Brian Wilson.
Among those on the slate for the night are fellow Beach Boy Al Jardine, the Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd, Heart’s Ann Wilson, Wilson Phillips, Norah Jones, the Killers’ Brandon Flowers and many more. Each is expected to take on a song from the Wilson catalog with Brian also taking the stage during the evening.
Proceeds from the show benefit the Sweet Relief Music Fund which provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians who are facing illness, disability or age-related problems.
The March 30 show at the Fonda Theatre comes a week before the April 7 release of Wilson’s latest album, No Pier Pressure.
Tickets for the show go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, March 5.
