Madonna thinks it’s “absurd” to tell her children not to do drugs.

The 56-year-old songstress is mother to four kids, including 18-year-old daughter Lourdes Leon.

And Madonna trusts her brood is smart enough to avoid getting caught up in something disastrous, like a major drug addiction.

“I just ask my daughter to make wise decisions and to do things in moderation and to try not to mix her alcohol,” she revealed on forthcoming UK broadcast, The Jonathan Ross Show Madonna Special.

“I am not going to say ‘no, don’t do it’ because that is just absurd. And it is not fair. Yeah, I did it. All of my children are talented.”

Madonna is currently promoting her forthcoming album, Rebel Heart.

And although her new song Devil Pray contains lyrics about drug use, the Queen of Pop doesn’t find getting high appealing.

“I am not a big fan of drugs. They just don’t suit me,” she noted.

“The handful of times I have tried drugs, many many many many years ago, I just didn’t enjoy it. I wanted it out of me. I started guzzling bottles of water thinking that was going to end it.”

Madonna fell onstage while performing at the Brit Awards on Wednesday night.

And in previously released clips from the interview, the star admitted she was really shaken up over the accident.

"It was a nightmare, I like to be amazing, I rehearse and rehearse so when I do a show it is effortless and I create magic,” she told Jonathan. “I did the opposite, I actually created a horror show for everyone."

The Jonathan Ross Show Madonna Special airs Saturday March 14 on ITV in the United Kingdom.
