Rita Ora is not a morning person.

The British star wowed at the Brit Awards last night, wearing a plunging gold jumpsuit by Zuhair Murad.

While she didn't manage to bag an award for British Video and also had to avoid ex-beau Calvin Harris during the event, she still enjoyed herself throughout the evening and kept Twitter follows updated with constant posts.

Rita also attended the Academy Awards on Sunday night in Hollywood, where she performed Oscar nominated song Grateful, and admits she enjoys her hectic workload.

"I like the result of things, so I put the work in," Rita told British InStyle about her non-stop work schedule. "I like knowing I made it possible. And I get really happy about little things, like feeling like sh*t when I wake up, but now it's 4.30pm and I feel great. I always feel like sh*t in the mornings."

As well as her thriving music career, Rita has also recently dipped her toes into the world of acting. While her role in Fifty Shades of Grey was relatively small, it has given her a taste for more. The offers may not be flooding in yet, but the 24-year-old is certain they will.

"Oh, I wouldn't say [acting roles are] there for the taking. It all comes from how you position yourself in society, right? If you position yourself in the way you want to be perceived that's how you'll be perceived.

"If you're a binman talking to the president, but you don't talk to the president like you're a binman, he's not going to look at you and say, 'Oh, f**king hell, you stink,' he's going to have a conversation with you," she said.
