Capital Breakfast's Dave Berry caught up with Taylor Swift at the O2 yesterday ahead of her BRITs performance tomorrow.
On her anixety Dave Berry Taylor Swift chatted:
Dave: Do you ever suffer from anxiety dreams? Where you're fighting clowns or wrestling a lion?!
Taylor: Oh my God yes anxiety dreams, and also my reality, even when I'm not dreaming, is peppered with lots of anxiety. There's a dream that, any time I'm 'paparazzid' out, which is a lot, I have dreams that night that they're in my room taking pictures of me while I'm sleeping! So I'll find myself smiling in my sleep, because I think there are people in my room taking pictures of me. Not smiling because I'm happy, smiling because I think people are taking pictures of me!
Dave: Which must be pretty horrifying for anybody that happens to be in that room with you at the same time?!
Taylor: No-ones ever… it's horrifying for the cats Dave! No-ones ever in my bedroom with me. Don't believe what you read!
Dave: What are you cats called?
Taylor Swift: The cats are called Meredith and Olivia. Nice sensible names, for sophisticated cats.
Dave: See how I've moved this on to nice furry fluffy animals?
Taylor: I like it, I applaud it!
Dave: From two fluffy adorable things to Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran…
Taylor: [Laughs] Debatably both fluffy adorable things…
And on Sam Smith vs. Ed Sheeran the conversation went..
Dave: Who do you think's gonna do the best out of the two heavyweight BRIT nominated male artists?
Taylor: Ed's scrappier that's for sure! Are you talking about in a fight?
Dave: No, but let's do that right now as that's a much better idea. So they're going toe-to-toe, they're out in the car park outside the O2…
Taylor: Are you talking about fighting styles?
Dave: Yeah.
Taylor: Ed could be anyone in a fight, just because he's like a little street urchin! But only sensitive when writing songs, but in a conversation about competition or anything – scrappy! If we're talking about the BRITs it's Sam's year, he's having an amazing year, I love him. Ed's one of my best friends so I want him to win something too. I think they're both gonna win stuff right?!
Dave: I would hope so!
