Kim Kardashian thinks Kanye is a worthy winner of the BET Honors Visionary Award.
The singing superstar was honoured last month at the annual Black Entertainment Television awards show, which celebrates the achievements of African American stars.
The show was televised last night, and Kim couldn't conceal her pride for husband Kanye.
"Watching Kanye's speech at the BET Honors made me smile! He's so deserving of this visionary award! So proud of him (sic)," Kim posted on Twitter.
She also uploaded a zoomed-in photo of herself sitting in the audience smiling at last month's event.
When Kanye was presented with the award, he boldly claimed it was the first time he had ever felt humbled.
“Well seeing that, I think for maybe one of the first times in my life I understand how it is to feel humble," he told the crowd.
He went on to discuss success, family and racism among other topics in his acceptance speech.
As well as basking in his own successes, Kanye has been overjoyed with the achievements his close friend John Legend.
The crooner and rapper Common won the best original song Oscar on Sunday night for their song Glory from Martin Luther King Jr. biopic Selma.
"GOOD LUCK TO MY FAMILY COMMON AND JOHN LEGEND ON THEIR OSCAR NOMINATION!!!!! SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS!!!! (sic)," Kanye tweeted hours before the ceremony.
John and Common also spoke about the racial problems that are still present in America during their acceptance speech.
“Some of the things I spoke about today, about the rolling back of some of the Voting Rights Act is real, and people feeling that around the country, what I spoke about regarding incarceration is real and it's destroying communities and it's a waste of our national resources to put so many people in prison, and it disproportionately affects black and brown communities," John later explained.
