Morrissey wants Buffy Sainte-Marie for UK tour

In a bit of a surprise, Morrissey has invited beloved Canadian singer Buffy Sainte-Marie to open for him for his March tour of the UK.

Sainte-Marie has been performing since the early 60's and has written such well known songs as Now That the Buffalos Gone, Universal Soldier and Until It's Time For You to Go.

Her extensive work for the indigenous people of the Americas may have been one of the factors that drew Morrissey to her.
