Meghan Trainor has lost friends now she's famous.
The blonde star burst onto the music scene last year with catchy track All About That Base, which has garnered her two Grammy Award nominations.
She now gets to hang out with the likes of Beyoncé Knowles and Harry Styles, but Meghan says some of her pre-fame friends no longer want to know her.
"My family have been incredible but I've lost too many friends for stupid reasons. Obviously as you grow up, you lose friends, but it's like tripled. It's heartbreaking sometimes," Meghan sighed to British magazine Now. "I lost a friend simply because I didn't text them back when I was sat the American Music Awards. They're p**sed off and I can't accept being yelled at because I'm working."
When she got to shoot the video for her debut song, some of the excitement was taken away by a pal of Meghan's who was unhappy not to hear from her that day.
"I remember the day I filmed the video for All About the Base someone sent me a text asking how it was going. I didn't see it because we'd been shooting for 14 hours, and then I had texts saying: 'Oh, you're too good for us now?' No one realises how hard artists have to work to get that fame. There's no time off. But it's OK, I'll buy some friends," she laughed.
The lack of time off also means 21-year-old Meghan barely gets to see any of the cool cities she visits for work.
She's flown all over the world thanks to her job but when it comes to getting any down time, the popstar is too shattered to even make it out of the hotel room.
"Yeah [I was in London] for an evening! It can be frustrating sometimes - I get dangled in these foreign countries but I'm so busy all the time. I get some nights off, but by that time I'm exhausted and I just want to go to bed.
"I got offered a massage today and I was like: 'I think I'd rather sleep in bed'," she admitted.
