Carrie Underwood knows she needs to “lock down” the name of her unborn child soon.
The 31-year-old country singer is currently expecting her first tyke with husband Mike Fisher.
And the songstress has revealed the couple have yet to decide on what to call their newborn.
“We don’t have a baby name. We need to lock that down here pretty soon,” Carrie told People magazine.
It seems the pair simply can’t decide on a moniker that doesn’t sound goofy.
Carrie notes when they discuss baby names, most of the time they end up laughing out loud.
“We joke a lot about funny things that go with Fisher, but there’s not some family name that I have had to be like, ‘No! That’s terrible!'” she mused.
Carrie admits gaining baby weight has been a bit of a challenge for her.
But the Blown Away hitmaker tries to keep her thoughts positive on the matter.
“Just knowing that the whole process itself is really beautiful … Even when I feel pretty large, it really is such a miracle and such a beautiful thing,” Carrie said, noting she’ll be exercising hardcore after giving birth. “I’m looking forward to reclaiming my body. I’ve been saying it’s been on loan for the past many months … I’m excited to take it back.”
Carrie has recently spoken about her minimal pregnancy workout regimen.
While with child, the star is choosing to keep her exercise light.
“Doing something, hiking, going for a run, lifting weights, boxing, doing things like that,” Carrie told Entertainment Tonight previously. “It makes me feel good. It is great to do something for me, and that is something for me. I think that women should make time. A little time, 20 minutes, 30 minutes.”
