Rita Ora has admitted to being “kind of intimidated” by Sir Tom Jones.

The Radioactive singer sits alongside the legendary performer on the British version of The Voice. And the 24-year-old has opened up about how hard she found it to go against the Sex Bomb star when it came to securing contestants.

“When I started filming The Voice I was terrible at pitching, it was so hard and I was kind of intimidated by Tom Jones – he’s such a legend,” she said to Mail Online. “He wins people with few words, he’s a man of few words. I’m the one who waffles on and babbles on, I think that’s why we all work so well.”

The stars are joined by former Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am and Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson on the music talent show. And according to Rita, they all bring something unique to the table.

“Will schmoozes it, I’m definitely much more outspoken, Tom is the man of few words and Ricky kind of has those fluttery eyelashes and gets all the ladies,” she laughed. “But it’s so nice to see how we all have these different aspects of the music industry, all different age groups and spectrums.”

While Rita has mocked Ricky for his tactics, he isn’t the only one who gets flirty. The blonde admitted recently that she’s flirtatious to help alleviate any awkward situations.

“I'm just a goofball deep down and I always have been," she laughed to the UK’s Reveal magazine. "Flirting has always been my thing to get people out of their shell. I like to make people feel comfortable."
