Future wants people to say his "creativity is undeniable".

The 31-year-old rapper has released two albums, with 2014's Honest boasting tracks including Karate Chop and Move That Dope as well as collaborations with the likes of Drake, Kanye West and Andre 3000.

It debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and Future hopes it showed people exactly what he's made of.

"I want to be the most melodic artist. 'His music ability, the way he write, his creativity is undeniable.' I want people to say that about me," he told GQ.com.

So far the record has clocked 111,000 sales in the US, but that's not enough for Future. He is determined to become one of the biggest names in the business and has high hopes for his long-term career.

"I want people to say, 'He evolved throughout his whole career.' I wanna be able to have the most number one records ever. The most Top 10 records ever," he insisted.

Although he's achieved a lot, Future still wants more. He plans to keep working in the studio until "everything that's in his inspirations" has been recognised. He's hungry for success in the same way he was when he started out, which is why he still works on music daily.

Future also hopes all this work will mean he is fully ready when other people start to realise how talented he it.

"I want to be prepared for success at its most high level. I want to be prepared when the time is right for me to get a Grammy," he explained.

The star also described himself as a "rock star" rather than just a hip-hop artist - in the same way Kanye West did in 2013, when he called himself the number one rock star on the planet.

It's not all been easy going for Future though, he experienced some personal problems last year when he split from his fiancée Ciara less than three months after she'd given birth to their son Future Zahir Wilburn.
