Geri Halliwell’s fiancé reveals she often “records vocals on the toilet”.
The 42-year-old former Spice Girls star is currently engaged to wed Formula One Team Principal, Christian Horner.
And Christian reveals his future wife is so committed to her craft, she often creates tunes at the strangest times.
“It’s true that you only get to know someone when you live with them. Geri is constantly writing down ideas and melodies for new songs,” he told UK newspaper The Mirror. “She even records vocals on the toilet because the bathroom has good acoustics. She’s certainly dedicated to her art.”
Geri and Christian announced last November they are now betrothed to each other.
Apparently Geri is keen on having all her Spice Girls bandmates at the wedding and there are invitations lined up for Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown.
“Geri really wants all the Spice Girls to be there,” an insider shared.
“But she thinks it will be too much of a circus if they’re her bridesmaids and wants the big day to be a celebration of her and Christian’s relationship rather than it being about the band.”
It was recently claimed not everyone is happy about Geri and Christian’s impending union.
Members of his family are supposedly outraged by the news.
“Christian’s parents have already made up their minds not to go. They’re very upset by everything that has gone on and feel as though their loyalties are very divided,” the racecar driver’s purported relative told The Mirror previously.
“You can say that his parents are absolutely devastated. We won’t be going to the wedding.”
Apparently Christian’s family is upset because he left his partner of 14 years, Beverley Allen, just months after she gave birth to their first baby, a daughter named Olivia.
