Fergie and Josh Duhamel apparently think their son needs a "partner in crime".
The happy couple celebrated their six-year wedding anniversary last week, tying the knot in a Catholic ceremony on January 10 2009. They already have little boy Axl, 16 months, together but insiders claim the pair are trying for another baby to keep the toddler company.
“She and Josh are trying to conceive another child right now. Axl needs a partner in crime,” an insider told RadarOnline.com.
“He is going to make the best older brother and they know that the time is now because they do not want to let too many years come in between their children.”
Fergie, 39, regularly uploads cute photos of her family on Instagram, such as one on Monday showing her, Josh and Axl taking a walk, with their son dressed in a lion-print tracksuit.
The handsome actor too shares snaps of himself and his wife and the loved-up duo are said to be stronger than ever.
“People are surprised that they have lasted this long... They are best friends before anything else," the source added.
“They are so low-key because they love what they do, but don’t like the life that comes with it. They prefer to be home with each other rather than out there because of the lack of privacy. She says she will be with him forever.”
Fergie has a busy year ahead after revealing she plans to drop her second album in 2015. She's already released single L.A. Love (La La) and has invited fans to submit artwork inspired by the song to be released as a print.
