Beyoncé Knowles and Jay Z have apparently come to the realisation that quality time is key to a happy marriage.

The megastar music couple tied the knot in 2008 and many believed their union was one of the strongest in showbiz. But they found their marriage the subject of media speculation last year following an incident involving Beyoncé's sister Solange and Jay.

Faced with infidelity and split rumours, Beyoncé and Jay are said to be pouring all their efforts into making their marriage stronger. This includes a bucket list of countries they'd like to experience.

"They sat down together and drew up a huge list of places they will visit together and goals they'd like to work towards over the next 12 months," a source told British magazine Grazia. "Beyoncé wanted to go to Iceland and Jay has always wanted to see Angkor Wat in Cambodia, so they went off and did both.

"They've decided that getting quality time in as a couple is the key to a happy marriage, and that if they're planning fun things to do that they've never done before, it'll keep the relationship fresh and exciting."

Beyoncé and Jay are proud parents to daughter Blue Ivy, three, and recently sparked speculation they were expecting again when Beyoncé posted a picture of her at the beach with a sand mound over her stomach.

Even if a baby isn't on the cards this year, it's thought they'll be devoting more time to each other in 2015.

"The two of them have worked so relentlessly and feel that they've neglected their personal lives and that the marriage suffered as a result. The bucket lists they've drawn up are all about wrestling back a really healthy work-life balance, rather than working non-stop around the clock on touring and recording new material as they did last year," the insider said.
