The infamous 12 Bar Club, known for supporting up and coming musical talent is unfortunately closing its doors for good.

Previous residents, Savage Nomads, will be performing at their final show.

The 12 Bar Club has always been a platform for new talent, giving countless bands their first London gigs.

Savage Nomads, who play the club’s farewell party this Sunday (11th January) are one such band - their first show was at 12 Bar back in 2007, which later led to a residency at the club. More recently, they have played shows with Carl Barat and
Adam Ant, won Unsigned Band Of The Year in the Gigslutz awards and were named as one of MOJO Magazine’s
New Faces of 2015. None of this would have been possible were it not for the early support they received from 12 Bar Club.

Their story is typical of many bands who have started out at 12 Bar.

The Crossrail Project is not only displacing a historic and legendary music venue, but also taking with it the prospects of many of London’s future musicians.
