Rita Ora finds it "amazing" that Jay Z and Beyoncé Knowles care about her career.

The 23-year-old singer has won fans the world over with her catchy music, all made available to the public thanks to Jay's record label Roc Nation. Rita signed up in 2009 and has remained close to the rapper and his wife since then.

Now she's set to be a judge on the UK version of The Voice, alongside the likes of Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am, the blonde beauty is thrilled to have the support of the A-list couple.

"Bey and Jay were with will for dinner recently and they asked after me and how it was going. That's amazing to know they are interested and care," she gushed to British magazine Closer.

"Of course I had moments where I wasn't sure whether to accept the job and, being so young, wondered if I really deserved the role. I was also really nervous about putting myself out there on TV. People will judge you and form opinions on you but, then I thought, there are no skeletons in my closet and I have nothing to hide."

And she's already gained the seal of approval from will, who has been a judge on the show since it began in 2012. He can't imagine anyone else more perfect for the role on the panel.

"Oh Rita, ain't nobody sweeter!" he grinned. "She's amazing and I really like her. She's young but she's current and she can offer great advice. She's fitted in really well."

And Tom is amazed by her presence too, adding: "Rita has more Welsh singers in her category than I do!"
