Eddie Murphy releases reggae tune

Eddie Murphy is trying out a little reggae with his new song ‘Oh Jah Jah’.

The star of Beverly Hills Cop, Shrek, Dr Dolittle, 48 Hours and The Nutty Professor dabbled in reggae in 2013 when he released ‘Red Light’ with Snoop Lion.

He also had a hit song 20 years ago when ‘Party All The Time’ reached no 2 in the USA and no 21 in Australia.

Murphy wrote and co-produced “Oh Jah Jah,” which was recorded and mixed at Soul Mountain Studios in Beverly Hills, CA. Ralph Hawkins Jr. and Trenten Gumbs also had a hand in the production.

Eddie Murphy is also in the process of making ‘Beverly Hills IV’ to be released in 2016.
