Iggy Azalea is upset she’s missed her chance to be a child mastermind.

The rapper has had an amazing 2014, topping the charts with hits like Fancy and Problem and finding herself nominated for four Grammys.

While she’s excited about the next 12 months, there is one thing she’ll never be able to tick off her list.

“Hi! Hope everyone enjoyed themselves last night! 2015 is finally here! That's the year visited in back 2 the future... We made it! Lol,” she wrote to her Twitter followers.

“It's also the year I turn 25.... why does life travel so fast, just yesterday I was on a mission to be a child mastermind at something. (sic)”

Iggy teamed up with 21-year-old Ariana Grande on Problem. The young star has been hailed the next Mariah Carey and is also up for two Grammys this year.

However, 2014 also saw her dogged by rumours she’s turned into a bit of a diva. Luckily, she’s looking on the bright side.

“hope i'm not too late to say this but just wanna thank you 1 more time from the bottom of my heart for making 2014 so special!! a dream. Ily,” she told her fans on Twitter.

“even tho there were some difficult moments i'm very appreciative of the love u continuously show. u make everything better :) really love u (sic)”

Also celebrating last year is Lady Gaga, who made the move from pop into jazz with the help of singing legend Tony Bennett. And luckily she’s also had some designer friends on hand to make sure she starts 2015 off in style.

“Thanku @Versace for beautiful NYE custom dress! U always send the team to take care of me very grateful #VersaceGirl,” she tweeted.

“And thank you @Roberto_Cavalli for another NYE creation for our VEGAS show. I felt like a star, what a dress! (sic)”
